Since the 1980's, Carmen Perrin established herself as a sculptor. In the 1990's she started creating works increasingly related with architectural and landscape contexts. Through her works she tries to create a tight relation between light, materials and architectural and social characteristics of a public space. In 2005, she decides to stop teaching to dedicate herself entirely to her artistic research.
She is currently working on projects related with public spaces and pursues in her studio a research in the close articulation between sculpture and drawing practices. The gallery has been presenting her work since 2009.
