Poésie fait maison brings together six contemporary artists and 99 poets to explore a proposition: what if certain forms of visual art could come to the aid of poetry? Poetry is invisible, but the poetic can be seen. By incorporating the domestic dimension of La Gaya Scienza, which is hosting it, Homemade Poetry attempts to reveal what cannot be seen, to approach what cannot be grasped, to dream around the indefinable idea that is poetry.
